Crochetvolution

This is my very first published pattern…well published in a magazine I mean! It is available from Crochetvolution and is completely free. I was so excited when I opened the home page and found my pattern on the cover, my daughter is not nearly as excited to be a cover girl as I think she should be…lol. There are some other great patterns in this issue too and did I mention that they are free.

I am working today on a couple of other new patterns I’m trying to get ready to have tested so that I can add them to my Ravelry shop….that is in between cleaning the oven and shopping for a new lounge suite, ours has finally given up the ghost!

I know she should, but she’s nearly 16 I guess I’m lucky she models for me without growling at the camera!

You have a lovely daughter, at that age sometimes I wasn’t thrilled to get my picture taken. It didn’t help that my father took a long time to snap the photo, which meant there were plenty of pictures with me opening my mouth to tell him to hurry up and take the picture already. Those pictures never tuned out well, lol.

Congrats on getting one of your patterns published. I’m not surprised, you do lovely work.

Thank you Opal, I am really lucky with Tonaya, she is usually quite cooperative when it comes to modelling for me and as teenagers go she is a dream girl 🙂
Her dad takes ages to snap photos too and she hates it!

Well, your photo is quite sweet! 🙂 My daughter (also 15) also helps me with photos too. Some of them have goofy looks. It takes awhile to get a nice shot. And of course, some of the goofy shots aren’t too bad. 😉

Thank you…it is very helpful sometimes to have cooperative 15 year olds 🙂
